Default ADX indicator

Hi Eugene,

The Average Directional Movement Index on MT4, perimeter setting is at default, 14. When i plot it on my chart, the ADX shown differently from my other charting software (Fibonacci trader charting software). The setting is the same as MT4 too. What's happening? How can i get the same setting from Fibotrader software to load into the MT4? Thanks for advice.

Hi JL!

I don't have Fibonacci Trader available, so is there any chance you could post a screenshot of what your ADX looks like on MT4 and what it looks like on Fibonacci Trader?

Thanks!

Default ADX chart attached.

From the MT4 chart, the ADX is showing at 47. But on Fibo chart, the ADX is around 30.

2) There is a priceline on the chart whenever there is price changes, can i disable it?
3) Can i set the time on the chart to GMT or whichever time set i want?
4) Can i link the trendline or fib line on one chart to all the other time frame charts?

Thanks for help.

Look here:

MT4 uses a different calculation for ADX than Welles Wilder did.
