Default Discrepancy in styles

Im brand new to the trading room, so please bear with me. I dont understand something and hope someone can help.

When I first signed up for the trading room, I downloaded the MT4 indicators, installed them, and watched the videos on how to use them. But when I watch the instructors in the trading room, all they use are Stochastics, Support and Resistance, Channels, and Fibs. They dont use any of the indicators that I installed in MT4.

Should I be using the indicators I downloaded, or should I focus on the techniques the instructors use in the trading room?

Hi Ccurto,

I would suggest using only the tools that you actually need for your trading style. The indicators are provided to assist traders who use one of the techniques they were designed for, and it makes no sense to use all of them - or even any of them - if your trading technique does not require them.

Keep it simple, and think about which techniques make you comfortable. Only when you know what strategies you use, can you decide which indicators to take advantage of.

When in doubt, I would definitely focus on what the instructors are using in the room. Hope this helps!
