Default Re: Hotcomm recording

Hotcomm Regular/Pro (the paid version of Hotcomm) supports recording of audio and video, though there is one caveat: it will record only the audio that your PC 'hears' as input.

To avoid Hotcomm recording your mic, you'll need to set up your PC so that the audio recording device is your stereo mix (this will use whatever is coming out of your speakers as your input audio).

If stereo mix is not available on your PC (some sound cards don't have it), you can just plug an audio cable from your Line Out port to your Line In port.

Another solution is to use a screen capture program like Camtasia Studio (http://www.techsmith.com). I believe you'll still need to set up your audio as I mentioned above.

Hope this helps!

PS: Soon we will be offering full daily session recordings, so you won't need to worry about this.
