Re. FXI Indicators

Once I've downloaded the FXI Indicators in my documents/metatrader4 folder how do I upload them into the MT4 . Saigate

If you download the FXInstructorIndicators-2008.02.12.exe file, you should just double-click on it and run it.

It is an automated installer. All you need to do is pick your MT4 installation folder and it will do the rest.

I download this file "FXInstructorIndicators-2008.02.12.exe in my Desktop, Double Click & Run into my Metatrader 4 Platform "program file/select metatrader4 folder/exper/indicators/" However, this is an application files. there are not converted into ex4 or mq4 in my indicators folder. Please help. Thank you

Hi Tuan!

You did everything correctly, up to where you chose experts/indicators. You don't need to do this.

Just choose your Program Files\MetaTrader 4 folder (or where ever it is installed). Don't choose any sub-folders like experts\indicators - it does that on its own.

For the FXI pivots indicator, when the color is changed, why is it that it cannot be 'saved'. When restarting the MT4, the colors change back to default.

Hi AWSL!

I'm not sure why you are experiencing this - I have tried changing the color settings in my FXI Pivots, but it stays when I restart MT4. Cannot reproduce.

The one thing that could be happening is that you are changing the colors in the COLORS tab, instead of in the INPUTS tab (make sure you scroll down to the bottom of the Inputs, and change your color settings here).

Let me know if that is what it was!

I,am new in FXinstructor..the FXi indicator already downloaded but i cannot fully understand the rightway to use it coz no manual attached...where should i get the download manual or any presentation related with each of indicator..

There are no specific manuals for the indicators, but I suggest you take a look at these threads, to learn about how the indicators can be used:

• FXI Pivots, FXI Momentum Value - Pivots Reference
• FXI Divergence Scan - Divergence Reference and Indicator Explanation
• FXI Camelback - Camelback Reference
• FXI Fractals - Fractal Bars Reference
• FXI Daylines - The same info applies as for FXI Pivots.
