Lightbulb The Official FX Instructor Ideas Thread

Hey everyone!

You are invited to participate in the discussion about ideas for the future - things we can do better or differently, or just do something completely unusual.

Here are some of the ideas we've gotten from our members so far:

- A testimonials section with photos of members and a voice recording of their testimonial
- A member area where members can tell more about themselves, sort of like a personal blog.
- A reviews area where members can post their thoughts about brokers, etc.

If you have any suggestions for ways we can improve the Live Trading Room or FX Instructor in general, we are always listening!

Thank you!

Hi Eugene, I was looking at some trade examples by the fxi team on this forum. Would it be possible to include charts with the examples?

Just now it's quite hard to follow old trades as you'll have to dig around quite a bit on the charts.

Also it'd be great if charts would show charts how they looked at both entry and exit, at the hard right edge sort of thing. I know you guys are really busy but I think this would help a lot.

Thanks!

Dear ER2,

Typically the discussions in the Book of Trades forum do include chart examples attached to the post. So I definitely do agree with you that this is a helpful thing - we'll definitely try to include charts with most of the posts in the future too.

Regarding showing the entry and exit on the charts - I think it would certainly make sense and I'll see if our team can add some visual commentary.

Thank you for your suggestions! Keep em coming

I didn't see the attachment icon in the thread list and must've been unfortunate enough to click on mostly the ones that didn't have any charts. Thanks!

Dears,
This is a very nice idea, actuly I was about to send you a mail with a lof of ideas, you're doing a very good job, and few good ideas will make a big difference I think.

1- I'll start with the payment process, actuly it wasn't easy, my country not listed in the PayPal, and I had to go with one of the other options, and I got an error massage from monyboker, I was about to forget the all idea, so I think it's better to make a direct way to pay without registering with another site, I know it'll cost more but I think one or two dollers will not make a big difference as long as you offer an easy and direct way to pay.

2- Most people come to you just like me lost, don't know where and how to start, so I was expecting to find some kind of learning plan, or few small steps in the first before start go to live chart, and sure it'll reflect your own vision about the best way for Forex professionality.

3- Still about learning idea, I think it's better to make a live session talking about Forex & trading basics, the very basics and let it be in the slow trading time.

4- The schadual in the site suppose to be updated with any canceled sessions.

5- I think it's better to write in the schadule if a spacific lesson needs a pre-qualifications, I mean you tell the people that you have to read this topic and you've to get a knowladge of this subject before attending this lesson.

6- The last thing is about the instructos, I'm really enjoing to be among experts like you, but I see that every one have his own way of trading, tools, indicators, style,.. I think this is not a good point, but in the same time there is a good point in it, there are a big varity and every one can choose the style he likes, but I think it's better to get agree or create a common style to use, or at least every one suppose to be familiar with each other style and tools.

I hope I didn't bother you with my comments, it's only one week for me to be here and I learned a lot and hope to this site will be better with a lot of folks here.

Regards,
Hassan Osma (abu_ali)

Ok, here is my 2 cents.
I think that jumping from one pair to another every 10 mins is not helping much. (at least to me)
So here's my idea:
Instructors should go through the pairs, and try to find a high probability trade that is about to happen, then guide us to the analisis, drawing trendlines, fibos, etc.... and give specifics entrys and exits, then take the trade and probably save a screenshot with a description of what we did live.
And very important, do not get distracted and try to analize all the pair in one session. Because sometimes i stay in front of the computer for hours and dont take any trade.
So this is what i think can improve the LTR.
Hope this helps

Hi Keoss,

I'm not sure at what times you are usually in the room, but trades get taken more often than you think.

Take a look at our Trading Journals area, where some of our instructors actually post updates about trades taken in and out of the room:
http://forums.fxinstructor.com/f38/

Regarding Sunil - he has not been on our team for a while now.

We are definitely committed to recording more new videos, so expect to future updates. Thanks for your feedback!
