Default Multi-time Frame Fishing Stoch Indicator

Hello,

I have put together a Multi-time Frame (MTF) Fishing Stochastic Indicator. This means that you'll be able to have for example, a 5min chart open in your MetaTrader, and have a Fishing Stochastic indicator for the 60min timeframe.

Notes on using the indicator, you must have the compiled Original Fishing Stoch in your Metatrader -> Experts -> Indicators folder with the name

FXI Fishing Stoch.ex4

for the MTF Fishing Stoch Indicator to work.

Attached is both the Fishing Stoch and MTF Fishing Stoch Indicator, source and compiled.

Regards,
Vincent

Vincent, whattaman!!!

Very stunning!

Just one question:

Is it possible to "smooth" the 60min stochastic when viewed on a 5minute chart?

Kind Regards and Thanks!

Welcome Guys,
I have been looking into the smoothing problem, at first I though the was a problem with the code and therefore not showing the line properly. But I have come to the conclusion that the problem is actually viewing a longer time frame oscillator on a shorter time frame.

It might be possible to smooth it out, but for now I don't have a clue. I found the best way to use the MTF for me is to put a 5min MTF instead of a 1hr MTF.

Hope it'll be useful for you guys.

Guys Im posting an M1 chart here with the MTF stochs, they seem to smooth out if left running. I mean they get jagged and zig zaggy again if you change the TF and come back to the TF again. Not sure if that solves the problem.

A lower period MTF on a high time frame will smooth it out, eg 1min Stoch on a 5Min chart.

But a higher period MTF on a lower time frame it will not appear smoothly.
